I am guessing you are asking because it is bugging you and so I say it will bug you for life. Even if the spot is reduced somehow by conservation, you will still know it is there and it will still bug you. I say return it and seek one that does not bug you.

Thanks levelsofmadnes and PlumCrazy814 you are right it bugs me but I thought was great deal and I think will probably only worsen over time so thinking about it like you said, bugging me, it probably always will, so back it goes. If it would not worsen I would keep but who knows. Thanks!

ok... maybe DDO-010 or DDO-017 its close i am now more partial to DD0-017

It was slabbed as fs-101 I dont know. Its on way back now

gsp193...I don't think your half was the 71S FS-101 (DDO-004), DDO-010 (that is an ODV-003), or the DDO-017. I guess it doesn't matter now that the half dollar is on its way back. I would have thought it was the 71S DDO-018, see attached photo of the DDO-018 from my collection...TRUST and the marker, die gouge on trunk of bust north of W in WE. I think I can see it in your newer photo.

i thought it might have been DDO-018 but ruled it out for some reason...

Thanks atrox001 and levelsofmadnes I appreciate it! It may have been slabbed wrong since they are close in how they appear. Oh well it still was nice except for the spot thankyou all for looking and taking the time!
