Hello again! I just finished my first coin roll hunting a few hours ago and found a few possible rare candidates. I just learned about Die Deteriorating Doubling in my previous post. The term is still fresh in my memory.

However, now, I'm having a problem distinguishing between legitimate re-punching and DDD.

Here are pictures of 6 different 1982-D Large Date, Copper Pennies. Again, each picture presented is a different penny. What do y'all think?

Could at least one of these have a little bit of both legitimate re-punching and/or doubling and DDD?

Again, these are all 6 different coins.

Suggest posting only one coin per discussion thread. Makes it much easier for us to focus on the matter posed. Thanks.

@hou, I grew with the above comment about listing only one coin per thread, but don't stress about this one. Here is a link to the varietyvista page with the only '82-D RPM:

Okay ijn1944, I'll consider and do that next time. I was actually thinking about doing that, but the main focus on my mind was DDD.

Spence, thank you for the link, and I apologize, I'll remember to do one coin per thread...

So all of them are an example of DDD and only DDD, huh?
