Bit of a noob question really but it is my first time submitting a proof coin. I really think it has a shot at MS68/69, but it does have a few bits of fluff on the coin which will come off easily. Here is the silly question, how do I remove them? Blowing them off would put mist and spittle on the coin. I only use acetone to get rid of residue on coins and this is just a few bits of fluff, should I give it a quick acetone bath? Will a water rinse damage the coin in anyway? This is maybe the best thing I can think of. It is solid silver. Will NGC themselves get rid of the fluff when they come to slab and grade? Basically just looking for the best option to give the coin its best shot at MS69.
Thanks in advance.

For blowing on coins - you are correct in not ever using your breath, which will carry droplets of spittle and that is disastrous on coins, especially copper. In the event I need to remove stuff from the surface I use a Giotto Rocket, Large.

They are awesome, never run out and never need replacing. As a professional photographer (retired) I used them daily and have one on my desk at my side currently, used for lens, cat hair keyboard dust removal, coins, etc. They are amazing.

Thanks very much. Can't believe I didn't think of that. I actually have some of my daughter's bath toys that are of a similar design so I shall fully dry one out and try it. If there is a thumbprint on any, is there a way to get rid of it? I don't really want to touch the surface at all other than water and air, maybe acetone.
Rest in Peace
