Hello all,

this two pence coin has a different color than originally should be and also its surface seems to be uneven. Can it be an error? Just asking for opinions and help, thank you

I've seen quite a few post-1998 British 1p and 2ps looking like this. I think it's a combination of environmemtal damage plus corrosion affecting the steel core under the copper plating.
