Hi Sythe and welcome to the forum. Is there some means by which you can post a picture? I've seen two-headed (and two-tailed) "coins" (actually tokens) sold in novelty shops.

Its Impossible to have an actual 2 Headed coin with different dates,, the Mint destroys the dies after each series is complete,, your coin is without a doubt a novelty coin,, Look closely with magnification around the rim you will find where one was inset into the other .

have a two-headed coin. How much is it worth?

Well, it’s probably worth $2.95 plus postage. The coin is a "magician’s coin" â€" a novelty item.
"You’ll never lose a coin toss with this coin,"
Someone foolishly, or purposely spent his or her two headed coin and now you have it.

Such altered items have no numismatic value.

Two headed nickels can be purchased at many novelty stores and at Cracker Barrel's in Indiana. They are laser cut now so it is very hard to detect the cut lines. And, as mentioned it would be impossible to have two different dates come out of the mint. Basically you have what is called a Magicians coins and a great conversation piece! Welcome to the forum!
Rest in Peace

Hi Sythe,

Welcome to the forum. Over the years I manage to get a handful of these coins and think there kind of neat.

I was going to spend them in Kyra's bank but then I had flashback's of the axe man..!!
