I don't have any idea what this is but it appears everything is thick on this Dime. Roosevelts earlobe really shows the thickness

Note a doubled die, but an extremely worn die. As the die wears, the design tends to creep towards the rim direction making the device look larger than they were when the dies were fresh. Also circulation flattening makes the devices look larger. But take a look at the variety vista DDO / DDR on dimes. After you see what is listed, you will stop looking at that denomination for doubled dies. After 1973 it is pretty much over on the dimes. Look at the sites to see what is listed, then you will know where to look. [Clue: On the doubled dies of the single squeeze dies, they doubling is not on the devices most of the time. It is on other things that with knowing where to look, you would be wasting your time) So please look at the listing to see what to look for first.
