Hello. I'm just wondering of theres a term used when theres some extra metal on the coin and if its an error or is it just nothing? In this case it's got some extra metal around the "2" in 2016. Thanks for the input

They are small Die Chips.
Common with no premium.

I would normally completely agree with that, they are die chips. As for a premium I have seen all sorts of die chips etc selling for a premium including modern ones. Seems there are more people that collect them in Canada then elsewhere.
