Hey everyone hope all is well, so I got a couple 1909 VDB wheat cents, I dont if it's the finish, if some scrupulous was done, I won them in a lot at auction for fairly cheap, I thought something in the color and how the look, almost like a pinkish type hue, appreciate any feedback have a good weekend

At first glance, I'm not seeing anything odd--other than the coin may have been cleaned long ago. Others will be along to weigh in.

coin looks good , a possible cleaning long ago but I wouldn't worry about it .

Appreciate the reply, mayb it's the color throwing me off, was thinking cleaned with some chemical, long time ago

Why did you post two obverses and reverses of the same coin AND the exact same photographs?

Just wondering.

Often times this happens when folks reuse the same filename for different pics. In that case, the website will replace the original pic with the identically-named second picture.

@byf, can you please try again to post pics of your other coin--you'll need to create unique filenames for them. Thx.

that has happened to me when I first started, but I caught it with the 'preview' option before I posted my comments or pictures.
