I know these coins have been discussed before but I have to ask. This coin weighs 4.51. It appears yellowish to the eye but the scanner darkened it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

If you are asking us if it is brass there is absolutely no way to tell from pics.
Maybe one in a million chance it is brass but you'll have to have an XRF test to find out.

Based on the die crack at leaf 6, the shape of the stem to leaf 9 and the position of the 9 of the date I think your coin is Haxby reverse H2 and the obverse die should be 36a. Check those dies on the Haxby catalog that Fourmack gave you the link to.

I checked the catalog you mentioned. You were correct saying it was an H2 - 36a. I have two just alike
Thanks

I'd like to see an XRF of that coin. From the gap at 7 and 2, this was late in the minting cycle/year

I would like to have the xrf done but have no idea where to find one. I'd go out and buy one, but they aren't cheap.

I meant that I would like to see an XRF on the brass "Museum" coin, not the OP's coin. The OP's coin is bronze and just like to 700+ that we XRF'd for the CNJ article on the brass '59's. You can count on 1 hand the number of brass ones found, but you may have to fudge a little with the 2nd can anyway. Give or take 1%, the OP coin is 95 Cu, 4 Sn, and 1 Zn.
