Got this nova Scotia Penny. I would like to know more about the overstruck. The Samuel Guppy token don't have the word one before Penny token. This one here have the same text but struck tewice in a different angle. Is still an overstruck or something else?

Thanks

"Double struck", rather than "overstruck", is the term you want. In this case, a rotated double strike; the coin was struck normally, but instead of being ejected it was spun around and struck again.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

No evidence on double strike on the obverse? the first strike could've been obliterated by the second - and with wear and environmental damage it's hard to say what's under there.

IIRC the copper/paper series were all over-struck on Guppy pennies, but as Mont pointed out the Guppy's do not have the ONE in "One Penny Token" so it's not a Guppy.

Possible host would be 1811 Patent Sheathing Nail (Bristol)

So if double struck, it would be a double struck over struck?

You are right Wade. I do some researches and the patent sheating might be the answer. Here' s some pictures.
