coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/21/2022 11:15 am It appears that these dies were polished, make the devices a bit smaller than normal and the bust design look like everything is weaker on the strike, but just weakened by the polishing of the die. I was reading your comment on a DDO 1982 large date Lincoln Cent and you mentioned how the lettering is normally thinker on this coin, even though the coin above the lettering is thinner than most I have seen so now that makes sense.
