Any thoughts on this? Am I correct in saying its 1736-1795 Emporor Quianlong Tongbao? Grading? (Sorry I didn't remove from plastic, running out of holders).

It's usually spelled "Qianlong" (no "U") but otherwise yes. The mintmark is from the Board of Revenue mint in Beijing.

Whats the difference between the first one I posted and this one? The characters are slightly different. I believe the grading is better overall too.

The characters on the front are basically the same, which you'd expect since it's the same emperor. The Manhcu script on the back is the mintmark, which is different for this coin; this second coin is from the Zhili Province mint.

There are slight differences in the calligraphy and shape of certain characters that can narrow down the date-period the coin was issued, or the specific branch-mint or furnace-room within the mint. The catalogue I'm using is "Cast Chinese coins" by David Hartill.

Your first coin is "Type B, top-heavy bao", dated to the period 1746-1753 (Hartill 22.203).

Your second coin is catalogued as "Type B, small characters" and is dated to the period 1755-1776 (Hartill 22.359).
