I would say its a high Fine edging close to VF, but so neat and well struck. I suspect your coin was also for Norwegian colonial use as well, as Norway was part of Denmark at the time, along with Gotland. Christian IV ruled Denmark from 1588 until 1648 and was considered one of their very best and most popular kings. His sister married King James VI/I of Scotland/England in 1589. The wear is light and there is remaining luster in the fields under the toning (which I wasn't able to capture in these photos.) I also found a free online image editor that does circle cropping.
