Thanks all! But it's a 1936 D captainkurt, and I haven't revealed the price I paid either.

Oh, I see. That's my bad

Zurie, I am considering a reholder but haven't entirely decided yet.

Don't think anymore relies will come in so here's the grade and price I paid:

1936-D-Washington-Quarter-You-Vs-PCGS-Mislabeled-In-A-1936-P-Holder

I paid $46 total for this coin. As soon as I had it in hand I thought it was undergraded at AU. The luster on its own looks too good to be AU to me so I am considering a reholder with PCGS. Minimally I should get it into a properly labeled slab with a reholder but I think an upgrade isn't out of the question.

there are no big hits on the coin, just a bunch of smaller ones, with that circular scratch on the eagle's wing being the most distracting, so I can see this regrading low MS, please let us know how it turns out

There is a fairly large strike through on the bust that I think will knock it down to a 62/63 possibly and I'm thinking that's what got it a AU58 grade but I'm likely going to reholder anyways. I will be sure to keep the thread updated if so!
