So, this is one of my best picks/scores so far. Somehow, both PCGS and the seller did not notice that this coin was a 1936-D and not a 1936 P. It was mislabeled by PCGS as a 1936-P and also listed by the seller as a 1936-P on ebay, so I bought this as a "buy it now" for a crazy price that I'll reveal with the grade. I don't really have a need for this coin so I'll probably be selling this one soon but I am certainly going to enjoy it while it's in my possession. Thanks for taking a look! -CH27 I'll post the grade on Sunday, Feb 27th. Collector of U.S. Coins, Varieties, and Colonial Coinage

Wow! Awesome! How can this be real? How can they both miss such a huge error! I'm in awe! New at this series but I'll go with ms 66 I'm always a grade high but dispute the marks on the cheek I like it at that grade.

Thanks! I was surprised as well considering the price difference between a 1936 and 1936 D in higher grades are drastically different.

@ch27, that would be a nice score. Have you confirmed that the certification number corresponds to this exact coin with PCGS? Maybe I'm just feeling a little cynical this morning, but I want you to be a little cautious here to make sure that you don't have a counterfeit slab.

Oh man! Now you made me a little cynical this morning. Let's see some close ups of that mint mark.

Don't see anything at all to be cynical about! Yeah! So happy for you! I need this one and I'm envious! I'm sure I won't be buying one in the choice + grade.

Excellent score! It's crazy how people don't see things. I'll call it a 64 for $54!
