Hi all,

I was wondering if you could help me ID these 2 pieces. I found them in a lot of european trading tokens but I have no clue to what this is.

Its a very soft (easy bendable) metal, probably tin or lead?

Diameter: 28mm, weight: 8.45/9.12 grams

Thanks in advance!

That's really interesting. I suspect lead because I have found several similar items in world coin lots but the ones I found were modern lead crudely cut octagons with no imprint. I wondered at the time what they were doing amongst the world coins but am now thinking someone was trying to replicate an older piece like yours. Sorry, can't help with ID but will be keen to find out what they are.

I would guess siege coinage maybe from a German state.

Or more likely a replica of one, as suggested by @DavidGraham.

Edit: something like this: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=4971845

Try searching various combinations of klippe / octagonal / lead.

The coat of arms resembles the coat of arms of Transylvania. Not sure if that helps with the search.
