In English: "What God joined together" - "Lives fruitfully and happily." An exact attribution I cannot give, but the medal is described in old inventory lists of collections, the oldest from 1763. Do you think that this piece was mounted at some point? Might that be common for these? Just curious as I don't know a ton about these. Thx.
