A fairly nice example of the mis-aligned die error. It's far enough off that some devices are falling off.

Hi CH! Hope things are well out there. Given how long they ran some nickel dies, I think I'd still call this LDS. Otherwise some of the coins would end up being VVLDS since they can be pretty overused at times.

I've searched a lot of nickels, but have neven found one in the wild that misaligned, nice

The flow lines are deceiving. This looks like the VLDS die state, Note how much larger the devices are becoming because of the die wear. Probably the second polishing of the fields, needing another polishing to keep using the die even more. The distortion is getting really ugly already for this die. Headed its way towards an advanced VLDS die:

Thanks all! I'd still think LDS, as this coin isn't anywhere near the example Coop chucked in there. That coin has AMERICA fully blurred into the rim, while the devices on my coin are still fairly decent.
