Found this one in a bag of wheat cents the other day. Old example but at least for this one I don't find the Mercury dime side very convincing with that big copper rim still visible.

I suspect that the "magic" was to turn a penny into a dime - in which case the observer would never see the dime side until the penny "shell" was removed.
