Found CRH, 1972 Lincoln DDO-#9

As usual, I check all 1972s for any of the 10 known DDO's, and I confirmed this one on Lincolncentresourse website. I say it is an AU in condition at that.
Not going to complain about only my second ever 72 DDO ever (the other one is #3).

The 2 "two" seem to be an 1972 DDO-009, 9-O-VIII. Not sure, been not really my expertise.

There are a lot more than 10 known DDO's on 1972 coins, and a bunch of them are related to doubling of the 2. Taking a look at Wexler's site will help assure you that you have the attribution correct as they can be pretty similar.

I'm not seeing #9 on this one.

The really small spike along the top of the horizontal bar of the 2 is related to the doubled master die (or re-engraved master die as VV calls it).

Even the MDD shows the same affect. On the DDO's they are just stronger.
