my question, if every coin in that set had and inverted S. that is everyone but the Jefferson nickle. its the only one that the S is correct on. question would you break that set up. or would you leave the set intact. I would like to know your thoughts thank you

The more polishing it goes through, the devices will get smaller in size, including the mintmark. So when taking images of the mintmark, make the outside borders seen in each image. That way we can see if it is smaller or larger on the coins. Also the punches age as well. So depending on the punch, is it a new one or one that has been used on several dies. Why does this make a difference? Be the punch is hammered into the harder dies. This although slight, doe affect the hardened punch into the hardened dies. Distortion happens to the punches. (More steel in a die, than on the punch. So it is the weaker link in the chain)
