This one is a pretty mild broad strike, but has an unusual color. Guessing it was stored in a plastic holder of some sort that wasn't really best for coins and it toned odd. I kinda liked it so picked it up today.

Nice, strange one but nice.

Is it larger than a normal cent? The distance looks farther from the devices to the rims, even for an over polished die coin. That year someone was way over polishing dies that year.

I like that example as well. Would've picked it up for myself.

Thanks for the great comments! And Coop, of course it's larger diameter as it's a broad strike. Not sure where you are going with the whole die polishing thing.

Nice well centered broadstrike.
Seems like I've seen this color on coins stored in those little coin sized manilla envelopes (without the primary wax paper envelopes).

Ok. Thanks. I was wondering with the space between the devices and the rims were so large. That makes sense now!

Nice pickup! It looks like a plastic cent from a child's cash register.
