I found this quarter in pocket change and I don't have enough knowledge about m Coin errors and or, varieties yet so not sure if I should save or put back into circulation.
Stains and damage are not mint errors. They are like a crumpled fender on a car. Is that a factory error? Or did it happen after it left the factory. Coins are damaged, just doing there jobs. It is not a mint error, if it happened after the strike.
Ok I'm more confused now. On the reverse there's a big chunk of metal that almost covers the entire wording. It's raised metal. The edge picture shies where the metal came from at least it appears to come from there.
