Probably nothing. Sorry in advance about a few to many pictures. I know it's damaged pretty bad and color could be environment caused. Maybe heat caused the damage? I can't find any copper coating. It weighs 3.34g. Could it have an improper alloy mix? Just for kicks. On the reverse at 4k. Do you think it's a rim Cud?
Just the other day Spence asked one of our new CCF member to "please put down the knife". Lol. ( I took a knife ) to the outside edge to part of the rim to see if it would show copper. Figured it couldn't hurt the coin any worse. It's not copperish it's bright bronze. Mirror like reflection. The shot with white arrow pointing is reflection of my finger. The purple arrow is a scary reflection. It's me. I don't know how that happened (but there I is.)
Sure will appreciate your input. Whatcha think? Thanks Rob.
Just coin damage that was plated over with a different color. Spendable change. Not a mint error. If it were a mint error, there would be not disturbance on the outside edge of the coin. Just altered to look like a mint error. An altered coin.
