I'm looking for some direction in identifying these 5 coins that are claimed to be 13th century German pfennigs. I'm not too familiar with medieval German coins, so any references or websites that I can use would be helpful. I realize that they're pretty worn so it may be a difficult task. If anyone can tell just by looking at these, any help would be great! Otherwise, I'm just trying to figure out where to start.

What did the seller tell you when you asked him those questions?

@chirr, are you sure that these are German—as opposed to potentially being Austrian? Best would be to have individual shots of each coin, but that middle one in the top row looks like it might have the three horizontal stripes of an Austrian shield. My go-to reference for these is Szego.
