It means world coins, it seems that most Americans know more about the "Darkside" of the moon then they do about foreign coins.

Only if you're not from Canada.

I started collecting darkside coins because I got tired of eagles and/or lady liberty on every coin in my collection. I found that darkside coins were generally less expensive than US coins of similar mintage and age. Now I only buy a couple of US coins every year.
