Thoughts on this one. I think it matches up pretty well to the Stage B photos on Variety Vista. Thanks !

FYI: A DDO is a 100 number: A DDR is an 800 number.

Thanks Centstation - I have updated the designation that I believe it could be.

Yeah but only in FS numbers. Does anyone besides me think that all these attribution sites need to come up with a universal coding system for varieties?

And to top it all off, Coneca has parted ways with Variety Vista and now will be generating their own attribution numbers on all new varieties.

Any thoughts on if this is a DDR or just Machine Doubling? Sorry I messed up the original designation. I had 1965 DDO on my brain since this box of quarters gave me the 1965 DDO FS-101 just after I found this one.

Machine doubling. You can see that the doubled areas are flat and shelf-like, whereas DDR-002 has enlarged devices and rounded doubling

Here is a side by side comparison with a normal quarter and the DDR-001, FS-801

That way you can tell the spread on the DDR that your coin doesn't have. You just have Machine Doubling.

@Coop you posted images of DDR-001, but OP asked about 002. Either way it's MD, but just wanted to point that out.

No problem, just like to keep things consistent.
