oriole Pillar of the Community Canada 5246 Posts	Posted 03/05/2022 12:37 pm The legends indicate it is from Gratian. The bigger question is whether it is genuine. The surfaces look a bit funny. I would suggest going to wildwinds.com and seeing if you can get a match and what the weight is supposed to be. My "Sear" book does not describe a gold coin that looks like this. echizento Moderator United States 23731 Posts	Posted 03/05/2022 1:08 pm Lovely coin if genuine, I say that for one reason without it being certified we can't be sure. Outwardly IMO it looks good. The weight is right, and the strike also looks good. However without a certification I wouldn't take the chance. Report this Post to the Staff
