Hello,

Ok. The picture is not great, but does anything jump out as immediately counterfeit on this coin? The shop is a trek from where I live and I have to bring my own scale,.etc

... Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

The counterfeit in my collection is 11% low weight and 13% less on thickness.

Wow.... That's a decent counterfeit, yes?! How are you sure it's a counterfeit? I don't doubt you, just curious...

Don't misunderstand.
I'm describing my own counterfeit weight and thickness measures.
The picture provided doesn't tell me anything at all.
Look for the engravers initials on the stems by the date.
Give it a good look with a magnifying glass and compare the strike to other coins in the shop.
See if it's the right weight and if the strike looks to be good with edges of the details are pretty well defined.

Hi Albert. I thought you were saying your counterfeit was very close to actual weight and diameter.... I will look closely and post here.... The damage at 12 o clock was a bit concerning.

Just a thought about damage at 12 o'clock as it was not obvious to me.
The coin could have been mounted as in some sort of a pendant or necklace.
