I'm encountering many coins that have fang like indentations ie 2 holes on the front or on the back of the US State Quarters. If they are on the areas on the reverse with the incuse devices, they maybe Machine Doubling. But if they are on that area of the outer loop on the ATB Quarters, there are no DDR's on those incuse devices. Report this Post to the Staff

The reeds on the edge of other coins can and will indent the surface of others when they fall into the collection bags at the mint and banks. Collecting since 1972.
