I sent this in to NGC for grading what do you think the grade is? Will be another month before I get it back.

Too much glare to see surface details clearly. Could you grade this coin accurately from these pics?

Assuming that it does not get returned Details graded (cleaned, questionable color, ect) I'd venture an MS64. Either way, a very solid strike for a nickel.

The artificial lighting in your photos renders the coin almost in a golden aura.

I hope it actually looks much better than that and would rather see it under natural lighting of some sort.

Looks to be relatively mark free so that's a good thing.

Can't go any farther with grading than that. Sorry.

I agree color is off, but strike is up there . I'm not so sure it was cleaned , something else going on ? A dip; but in what ?

This coin was graded NGC AU58 I paid $102 for this coin listed as "GEM BU MS" Buffalo nickel

I see that you purchased the coin from canyon.city.coin. The seller has juiced photos that are ungradable, and the seller's comments mean nothing. You could have purchased a nice graded MS65 for less than what you have into the coin.

I also purchased from canyon city but will never do so again. They did refund my money without hassle when I returned my purchase within the stated period.

The price you pay for sub-standard coins, along with associated grading fees, are what I refer to as "tuition" to "Numismatic U".

I've been attending Numismatic U for over 60 years and have never met anyone who has graduated. A lot think they are close though!
