I can't see any doubling, maybe the pics need to be sharper?

I do not see doubling. It is normal design and with the environment action on your coin you has this optical illusion. I can say you has a good spirit of observation.

Just a will circulated coin with extreme die wear when it was struck. Not a DDO.

Circulation flattening doesn't add a premium for a coin. The high lighted areas are all part of the normal design:

I used a Fresher die design on this image. It is a 1964 SMS normal fresh die example. No that doesn't count.
