Should I get a quarter box or a half dollar box?

I am not looking for silver or nifc coins or proofs or any other special coins.

This box would help me fill in holes in my folders when I buy them.

Why don't you get one box, then return it with replaced coins for another box the next week?

Much more variety in halves vs quarters based on my experience.

I suggest quarters. My bank doesn't keep halves in the safe, but the are more than willing to order a box for me.
Rest in Peace

You will not find silver in quarter boxes. They circulate way too much. Halves sit around way more so silver can be found. Also some great looking coins pop up, past the silver era. But depends on what you want to collect. Their are a bazillion varieties of quarters to look for. Halves you are going to see a lot of Kennedys.
