Thanks to an earlier post by Coop, which gave me the empidids to post my 1965 Quarter. I must apologize for my number of pics, but I haven't got the ability to post a full picture of the obverse and reverse, so I used 3 pics each. This coin certainly is a DDR-001 FS-801 and I think the obverse has an DDO as well but I am not sure. The Coin has great fields and is a good looking quarter! Regards

I think is referring to RDV-003. This coin it is an RDV-004 very common for the year. If was an Type C (RDV-003) was fantastic

The design is the same as the Type 'C', but that is the common design for that year on the 1965 reverses with the strong tail feather. The Type 'C' is on the 1964-D Quarters.

Coop, I used your example of the pictures you supplied to MrBreeze (03/03/22 entry) that were from PCGS on the split pics showing the DDR-001. I compared the bottom splits of the reverses to my pictures, and they looked the same to me. Obviously, I need Glasses! I was nervous about all the pics I sent in my entry because of the number (19) but I was trying to show a great coin from circulation. Regards!

Yes COOP, in principle you are right, but we find on 1965 Type C, D and E with the type C scarce one. SMS for type C it is unconfirmed yet and type D and E been common ones. If is need I will post the document here.
