Quote: I just noticed I posted this in the US modern coin forum and not the error and varieties forum but don't know how to move it. Fixed.

@petespockets, thanks for the response and opinion on this coin. @makescents, I will take some hopefully better pics of this cent. This micro camera I have been using stinks and broke on me today. I have a new better model arriving tomorrow. Coindom76

@makescents, thank you very much. There are very helpful people here. I just want to learn more and understand the different errors and varieties. Some individuals on here just seem to enjoy dictating what a coin isn't with complete absolution, rude, without offering direction, correction or offering what they do see if someone is incorrect. That is not what I would call educational more like a secret elitism type web society. I guess numerist groups are a former form of Masons group. Maybe they still are. I was told this is a website of learning. Again many are helpful on here. I do respect individuals with years committed to the art of coin currency, errors and varieties. Thanks again. Coindom76

@makescents, thank you for the links and additional information. I do have all these sites marked down and use them daily. It will be easier now having them all jotted down here for quick link reference points moving forward. My father collected variety and error coins for as long as I could remember. I personally never got into collecting until a few years ago after my father passed on. If my father were still here I would be learning directly from him. My issue is that I can usually tell when something is off with a coin. That said it doesn't mean I always understand the variety or error involved. Even minor, no premium, MD and misaligned die struck coins are not so common when you think how many coins are struck using the same dies. I do realize with actual variety coin out there why there is no premium for them though. I am a pocket change commando. I'm not going and buying varieties or errors. Everything I share on here came from circulation though change. It just proves there are plenty great varieties and unique errors in circulation. I have found many unique one of a kind errors in circulation. Confirmation is where my frustration comes into play at this point. Thanks again Coindom76

Nice, John1, Ken's link is one I lost. I also added the Lincoln Cent Resource, above, left that one out.
