I saw this on ebay today. I looked at the few I have and I have one that has the same wavy marks on it. What causes this?

I only have 10 of these coins and of them, there are 5 that have this only on the reverse. all of varying degrees. Some are covered in the waffle pattern and some maybe half the coin.

This signature is part of the color application process.

I didn't know that either, is it the same for all coloured Canadian coins or just the 2004? Don't have a black like to check my toonies:p

@SP67 My old phone didn't have like an auto convert language. I'm going to go diving into that site a bit. Appreciate it. I'm sure it's not complete but it is a good error reference site.
