Yes not a coin, but rather an Egypt-themed silver round. From the inscriptions, it appears to be a quarter ounce of 0.999 purity fine silver.

It claims to be pure silver. Of course, anyone can make a medal that has "999 fine silver" stamped on it, and the people making such things don't always tell the truth.

If you don't know and trust the manufacturer (and this piece has no manufacturer's name or mark) then you'd need to verify its claim.

The artwork isn't impressive enough for any but the most diehard Egyptology enthusiast to appreciate, so I doubt it will be worth anything over bullion value to a collector.

Is this coin actually a medal or token? I see that it's .999 silver. Is this worth anything and if so, how should I sell it? I posted this coin on another forum and they couldn't I'd it.

Bullion rounds, or objects claiming to be bullion rounds whether they were actually made of bullion or not, would qualify as "medals" rather than "coins" or "tokens".

from the sales spiel:
...The Monarch Mint's signature crown logo sits atop the point of the pyramid flanked by King Tut's 2 royal cartouches...

They can think their mintark is distinctive and "signature" if they want, but I, for one, would never have guessed that the crown perched atop the pyramid was supposed to be the mintmark.

@dqu, best practice is to avoid multiple threads on the same item, so I've merged your two threads.

According to both these sites it's worth just over US$9 at today's silver prices.

As to where to sell I guess that ebay would be as good as place as anywhere.
