The reverse only seems to be struck one time. I wonder if the collar clash(es) might have broken the collar die and created the opportunity for an out-of-collar strike? The die kind of bouncing its way down until the final strike position. I've seen a lot of these with stretching, usually showing up looking like long flow lines, just not rings.
