This was an assisted cherrypick. A friend spotted it and let me have a go at it. With shipping I paid $10 for it. The coin is stage A, and has the first reverse known paired with this obverse. Later stages have a very strong class VI DDR.

RPMs are given a direction from the second punch to the first punch, so this one is D/D southwest. The doubling on the 8 is master die doubling and unrelated to the RPM.

I will never understand those DD's. I will stay with minting and design varieties.

RPMs look the nicest when the fields are not filled with die scratches. So you have a very nice example of a nice RPM in fantastic condition.

Thanks all! This one is a nice little upgrade, as the one I had was MS with a light fingerprint.
