Bat season is starting early this year so sorting out some circulated wheats to sell off unsearched. I'm just looking through the partial rolls and ignoring anything that looks to be a full roll or tube. There was a tube and a half of 1956-D and this was in the partial roll. Hope whoever gets the full part finds something nice in there!

I'm interested in purchasing unsearched wheats. Hopefully not %85 '45-'58. Not sure what the policy is about transactions on this forum. I apologize if my interest in purchasing is frowned upon. If not please let me know the best way to follow up. Nice variety. I've been looking for the 1956 D over "shadow" D. I've found 1 so far.

Thank you for treading lightly @ozzy. The most relevant part of the buy/sell/trade rules to this discussion is:

All buying, selling, and trading must be done in the appropriate forums, not the discussion forums.

I would imagine if you DM @tb, then they will get back to you with their ebay or whatever seller info.

Nice double D. Every time I find doubling on coins and send them in for grading they come back Machine Doubling.I just found a 1956-D with doubling in date,on the head and on liberty. My biggest problem is with taking pictures of the coin.Have glare issues with the plug able I am using. You have beautiful pictures of your coin. This is a feat in its self.Nice coin.

Thanks folks! SaturnD51, yeah, since much of what I do here is show coins with real doubled dies, RPMs or errors as learning examples, I have to have reasonable images to show them. But the whole coin pics are super easy if you spend $50 on ebay for a used Canon S95 point and shoot. Takes really nice full-coin macros although to get things right you are still looking at some good bit of cropping. I use an expensive scope for the close-ups, so not a good one to offer advice on a killer starter set for those, but folks have had excellent success with USB scopes as well as those little clip on lenses for your phone. Neither are expensive.

Cookie, I think this is one RPM I can say I have enough of! I probably find five or six a year and maybe sell off one or two. I'm going to toss this one up on ebay just to not add yet another one to my files.
