I was going through grandma's coins and I found this 1963 D nickel but it looks too shiny like cameo satin. The problem is the proof were made in Philadelphia only. no mint mark. It looks too good for the year. The collar is well defined all the way up and the strike is high relief. Another issue is that on closer inspection the mint mark looks like it is doubled but in reality as you can see the D is over a sideways S mintmark (for San Francisco). The problem with that is that San Francisco did not produce any coins from 1955-1968. Please help explain error.

MD and or DDD. OMMs stopped in 1955. No proofs minted that year at Denver, so it is a business strike.

I agree not an OMM and not a proof. It is shiny though. That deformed mintmark might be from a well-placed hit, a tired die, or a little bit of both.
