I got this nice 1941 Lincoln Cent when cashing in a ticket a couple of weeks ago up in Oklahoma. Probably the best older Lincoln Wheat cent I've received in change in a very long time!

Nice coin in great shape. Congrats.
(ps. Is that first dot elongated? The bottom of the E & L, of EPU, looks thick also.)

Nice find in the wild! I don't even remember the last time I found a LWC in change that looked that good.

Pete.
I'll take a closer look at it under a glass when I get back home to Texas later this week.

I wonder if the person that used it even knows what he did.

Quote: (ps. Is that first dot elongated? The bottom of the E & L, of EPU, looks thick also.) Pete, Yes, they do appear to be thicker and the first dot looks weird, too. I'm not into LWC varieties so I have no idea what it is other than a pretty nice '41 cent!
