1878 CC Morgan Silver Dollar Reverse Question

gsp193 Pillar of the Community United States 975 Posts	Posted 03/30/2022 8:55 pm I came across this Morgan and I am wondering if this reverse is possible. I read that all CC 1878 Morgans have the type 2 reverse with a parallel top arrow feather. This looks to be a reverse of the 1879 with the slanted top arrow feather. I do not know much about these so any help is appreciated. This is not mine, I just saw it and started researching it trying to learn about them as I do have a few, just not CC. Jakes Coins Pillar of the Community United States 735 Posts	Posted 03/30/2022 9:01 pm I dont think there are any 1878 cc morgans with the reverse of 1879 so I would say it is counterfeit I've been collecting for a couple years...
