Hi all,
Could use some help on this. Worth sending in or no? There is a die crack on the bottom of the bust where it meets the date.
I wish the photos were sharper for you. Sorry. Best I can do. TY

This year really isn't ever worth sending in. It would have to be MS67/68 to justify the cost. PCGS doesn't even have a 68 yet. Even at MS67 the cost to value ratio is close if not in a PCGS holder.

That said with the photos provided I can still make out a few marks on the obverse and on the reverse drum and stick. I'm sure there may be more. Would be surprised if this one was MS65 but would need better photos to really know.

It looks like a higher choice bu example tho.

the lighting is the main issue. do not use overhead lighting. a solid black background is best. looks MS. somewhere between 64 and 65 without better photos any higher and we need better photos

better sharpness is making it looked scuffed, if that's an accurate depiction I'm afraid the grade might drop to AU

Wow! Doesn't look like the same coin! Not sure how the surfaces got all marked up like that. Although I don't see much in the way of wear from circulation (there definitely is some tho) the luster has been stripped. These photos suggest environmental damage. I can not wrap my brain around the drastic difference in photos.

I'm having a hard time capturing a good photo. The coin is not scuffed at all. Just haven't figured out how to take a good photo

The coin came from an uncirculated roll of quarters

Yes it is uncirculated. the problem of your coin it is will not reach 66. I will not go in details. It is a nice coin, no doubt. It is not a variety and think that your coins was strike with aging DIE. In this series to be worth to slab must be 67 and plus. Sorry, keep safe and maybe in the future will be more appreciate.
