Hello everyone! Is this a good type coin for Draped Bust Large Eagle dimes? PCGS did straight grade it, I am just wondering what you guys think of this coin. Also what dates do you find underrated and undervalued in the series? Sorry for the poor quality of the picture--even the true view one is weak.

this ones a challenge using either set of photos. the first set looks like there is a good bit of luster hanging around. the trueview photos are pathetic but easier to see the devices sharpness. using the trueview I thought VF35. using the first set (which I think is more what the coin actually looks like) I'm thinking AU50. I'm going with something in between but leaning towards the first set. XF45

Can't get a good sense from the pictures but looks at least AU. I don't look at enough of these to know what is out there on offer but looks like a great addition to your type set.

Thanks everyone! It is actually not my coin. It is for sale, and I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it. The only Draped Bust Large Eagle dime I own is in an NGC holder that I posted here in late summer of 2020. I am looking to acquire a nice high end circulated one from either 1798 (preferably 1798/7), 1801, or 1802. AU(50) it is!

I think the photo is hiding a lot. Because to me, AU-50 means "tons of scratches". I would personally wait for a nice XF40-45.
