It is ~18mm in diameter, extremely thin and light compared to a US dime. I understand King George II was from the House of Hanover and was "Elector" as ruler of the Brunswick-Luneberg German State from 1727-1760. "Pfenig" on the reverse could be a denomination? However there is no date I can see. (info provided by redditor u/exonumismaniac)

It is a jeton/token with king George II. Tokens like these were minted in large numbers and with various designs. They were used as game tokens and counting tokens. This one is of German origin. Search for "Georg II rechenpfennig" too see other examples (the reverse inscription ends with RECHEN PFENIG, "counting token" in German).

The reverse reads: IO.CHRISTIAN.REICHS.RECHEN.PFENIG

It was made by Johann Christian Reich who was a medalist active in Fürth (Germany) from 1758 to 1814 (Info from Forrer)
