is this a Ch'ien -Lung, AD 1736-1795 coin?
Is it an original?

Looks like a 1 cash coin of Qianlong (Ch'ien -Lung) made between 1736 and 1800 in the Boo-yuwan mint (Board of Works, Beijing).
KM# 390/KM# 391

There are many varieties of this coin because it was minted for so long. You can identify the specific variety and a specific time period by examining the calligraphy.

It is almost guaranteed to be real, because these coins are common and counterfeiters would not go to such an extent to make a convincing fake of this coin.

Depending upon your spelling convention, it might also be identified as an issue of the emperor Kao Tsung (1736-1795) I'd concur it's likely genuine, with reproductions generally being rather readily identifiable as such. Originals are certainly not hard to find.

I think this one can be narrowed down to the "Old Branch" mint of the Board of Works, between 1775-1794 (Hartill 22.259).
