Its my first time, I'm a virgin when it comes to coins, got interested after watching some tiktok videos, I bought a USB microscope and went to the bank and asked for $200 in quarters to start. One of the videos I saw they were talking about double die 2018-2019 quarters, so I took a handfull of the ones I found and started looking, I found this ones with some discrepancies so far. But I'm confuse if they are double die or Machine Doubling or if they are worth anything other than their face value.

What do you think?

I'm sure the experts figured out what this was after the third or 4th photo. Less is better.

Thanks for the replies, this is addictive, found several 6 claw 2008 quarters, 11 2022 drooling Washingtons so far. Lots to learn for sure.

@cde, first welcome to CCF. Second, best practice is to post each coin in a separate thread, but because your question was largely the same across all of those quarters, this format was fine. We'd love to see more of your finds with named die chips and such, but please put them in separate threads and include the date, mint, and denomination in the title. Thx.

There are no DDR's on this area of the design. The letters are incuse and can affect the coin by the machine before/during/after the strike. The DDR's are on the center areas of the design. Make sure to check to see what areas you should be looking for a DDR/DDO for the single squeeze dies on the post 1999 quarters. The DDR's are not something you expect to see on these areas. So like a map, check out what you need to know about the doubled dies on these single squeeze dies:
States quarters listings:
http://doubleddie.com/179401.html
D.C. & Territorial 25¢ Doubled Dies
http://doubleddie.com/228464.html
America The Beautiful 25¢ Doubled Dies
http://doubleddie.com/719755.html
Take a look to see what you are missing on these doubled dies. They are not what you expect to see/spot/find without the map to show you where you need to be looking/going to spot these doubled dies.

CoopHome: Quarter doubled dies on the post 1999 quarters. Why can't I find them?
