erafjel Pillar of the Community Sweden 2124 Posts	Posted 04/07/2022 5:15 pm Nice coin, as can be seen from the better pictures. It is definitely Philip IV, 1290-95. Looks genuine. One of many many varieties, this one has a tiny fleur-de-lys on the "foot" of the L in PhILIPPVS (not rare, but an interesting detail). I agree with @tdziemia on the grade, TTB+. Maybe cleaned, yes, but so are many of the surviving coins from this period, so (in my eyes) not a big deal. A price of 160 € is reasonable. Report this Post to the Staff

It weighs and measures correctly and I cannot imagine the forgers can get so many points of detail right without an obvious give away.
