I have a dime that appears to be double die. Not really sure. Would like an opinion please.

Just Machine Doubling. You find DDD and Machine Doubling on the outside edges of the devices. The DDR's are on the center of the designs. So check the sites to see what to look for on the DDR's:

Note on this page there are none listed for that year, but click on the years that are underlined then look at what is the listed as DDR's. Then you will know what to look for and where to look for these DDR's. They are where you are not looking for them. To keep looking where you are looking is like wanting to walk to get to Australia. You first confirm on a map and then start walking. When you realize that you are looking in the wrong areas, then the map is useful. So look at the sites to see where to look and save your eyes a lot of eyestrain. The die creation process changed around 1999 for most denominations. So looking in the old locations will find you nothing but die wear and Machine Doubling.

Thank you. I am using my assurance wireless cell phone.Light is great in the bathroom. Then close up, a $10 microscope from ebay.

As to light, seems you might need to use less. The glare is a bit too much, other than that they are nice pics.
